We are Martin & Ellen, a husband and wife wedding photography team from Nottingham. We live a few miles outside of Nottingham and have been photographing weddings for over 10 years. We are fun loving, down to earth, relaxed and caring. We love to travel.
More specifically we love cruising and we have been fortunate to visit many different countries and have been lucky to find out more about many of the different cultures, cuisines and ways of life.Becoming a Wedding photography was never planned. In the year we got married we attended 4 other weddings as guests and heard many nice comments about the photos we had taken.

We think its fair to say that not everyone is comfortable with having a camera pointed at them. We know some people actually fear being photographed and so they struggle to relax - especially when they see a professional photographer pointing a camera at them! Having an engagement shoot is a great way to ease the worries of being photographed.
You are investing in our experience, our commitment and the recognition that we have received with the knowledge that we can deliver! Our unique wedding photography approach has been created from skills gained during the last 10 years of photographing weddings around the UK. We offer friendly and fun outdoor lifestyle & family photography sessions in your garden, the local park or perhaps somewhere special to you. Our aim is to capture the fun, laughter, love and happiness shared between you. We give a little direction and then let your personalities take over. This makes for timeless, natural moments which you will want to hang on your wall, or put on a desk, to remind you of your loved ones.
We shoot a limited number of weddings each year. To avoid disappointment contact us early. We will get back to you within 48 hours so if you don't see our email, please check your junk folder. We feel this as we aren't fans either! Our personalities are such that we work with you to make it as pleasant and relaxed as possible, choose a great settings and make you look fabulous!

I honestly can't put into words how much having Martelle photograph at our wedding meant to us. Both Martin & Ellen are so wonderful! I genuinely can't recommend them enough. Both me and my husband, our friends and our family love our photos, they are just stunning - the attention to detail, the editing and the moments captured are just incredible. We had the pleasure of using Martelle Photography for our wedding at Bestwood Lodge.
From the pre shoot prior to the wedding to the actual day they kept everyone relaxed and produced some innovative photograph opportunities for us to remember our special day.

We were so pleased that we chose Martelle to photograph our wedding. They were extremely professional in all cases--always responsive and communicative, they were flexible in dealing with anything that happened on the day, and they were fun to be around. My husband and I felt so comfortable with them, and the images are gorgeous! Everyone is so impressed with our slideshow DVD. Can't recommend them highly enough.
