Wilf Holroyd established a car repair business, renting a workshop to the side of the filling station which was originally situated at the current premises. The business flourished and his reputation for value and standards of excellence was founded. Dave Holroyd joined the business with his father.
Our fully licensed MOT test lane uses the latest equipment giving us the ability to test all makes and models of petrol and diesel cars and LCVs. This includes the equ. Not only are these parts essential to the safety of your driving if they start to fail not only can they impair the car's performance but they may lead to you failing you.
Different manufacturers recommend different service intervals for different models of vehicle depending on the average annual mileage of that vehicle. We would suggest that most vehicles fall into one of three categories based on the (M.P.A.) miles per annum. If you only do a small mileage say less than 6000 miles per annum your vehicle only really requires one routine service per year.

Poor quality service. Needed help with our car to get it going after a small engine issue but the person who serviced the car actually caused more damage than he fixed. Took it to another garage after realising there were more issues who said the engine is too far gone to fix and would need a whole new engine. Do not use if you value your car and money.

Horrific service. Went to get my air pressure checked in my tyres and was charged £125 for premium air, my usual only charges £80, ridiculous prices. When questioning the high prices Dave then went on to rubbing up against my car bonnet, however this did get me a small discount off the air, just not quite enough for two stars. Do not bring your Toyotas... else they will be used as Dave's toy. Most unprofessional garage... me and my car will be safely avoiding this place.

Absolutely shockimg service and charged 325 quid to change a hazard light and steering column switch!!!!! Asked them to justify £100 for a steering column switch on a pugeot 107! They didnt want to provide me a receipt for there EBAY purchase. Wow dont use this place.. only went in for an MOT and didnt tell us it was going to be this much until collection! Dont use! Much better in Chester.. just used this as local.. what a mistake!

Charged my mother in law 226 for a service..saying they had to flush petrol and brake fluid flush... she asked for a mot so payed all that money for stuff that didn't need doing!!!! I know about this and I'm furuios i just didn't have time to do a service so she said she would get it done with mot.... DO NOT GO HERE LADIES!!!!

My old Focus CMax needed its MOT and, due to health issues, I needed a specific day/time. Everyone who dealt with me were kind and efficient, going well beyond the minimum customer service needed. The car also required some tlc, which was dealt with immediately and got me on the road safely. Thank you.
