At Tarvin Garage Services Ltd we use the latest in diagnostic equipment to enable us to service and repair both new and used vehicles from Cars to Light Commercial Vehicles. As part of the BOSCH CAR SERVICE Network, all our technicians undergo advanced technical training and only fit approved quality parts and lubricants, ensuring your manufacturers warranty remains unaffected.
All Vehicles more than three years old require an annual MOT Test certificate that looks at the safety of the vehicle. Tarvin Garage Services Ltd can carry out MOT Testing on both Class 4 and Class 7 type vehicles, this includes Cars, Vans, Motor Homes and Light Commercials up to 3500kg. Our Service is prompt and convenient, taking approximately 1 Hour to complete.
With technology in vehicles becoming increasingly more complicated, engines require sophisticated Test Equipment to help diagnose faults and system failures. I am in shock to be honest!!……I thought I would give a small business my custom, instead of my usual Ford dealer, to service and M.O.T my C. Max,
What I wasn’t prepared for was a bill for £349!!!…….for a service, and M.O.T!!!, from this small, local business,………lesson learned!!…..The car passed the M.O.T by the way!

Shocking service, Put my car in on Thursday and got it back Tuesday because they were taking too long, I had to ring up every day to check what was going on with it. They told me that the several different names of the part that I needed and the complete unit that I needed was a "couple of grand" and told me to get a part for them. They wouldn't find the part for me even if it was second hand.

Shocking, rip-off prices. I’m not the sort of person to normally write a review but I was appalled to be asked for £800 to supply and fit a couple of rear springs on a Renault Megane. I was shocked when I called a local garage who could do the exact same work for £150. Going online reveals that even people who have been ripped off by a garage for a spring replacement have ‘only’ been ripped off to the tune of £400... well these guys wanted double that. Scandalous - wouldn’t go near them with a barge pole!

I have been using the services of this Garage for 5 years.
They employ only the best mechanics (not apprentices with limited knowledge)
They are not the cheapest but they are by far the best. No rush jobs or half fixes. They explain fully to you what the problem is and give you options before going ahead with any works.
I have referred family, friends and clients and will continue to do so.
You must remember....you pay top dollar for a 5 star meal, so be prepared to pay top dollar for a 5 star service !

After more than 6 years of using Tarvin Garage services I won't be going back. Labour rates are now around £100/ hour so for servicing you'll be coming away with a huge bill just to change plugs and brake fluid.
You'll find it cheaper to get your car serviced at a main dealer. If we'd gone to Nissan the same service would have been almost £50 cheaper! Plus a dealer stamp in your book!
