Our baby units offer a safe, caring environment and are filled with bright, soft toys and sensory equipment to encourage development. Babies' senses will be stimulated by our black, white and red areas and by participating in water play, music and singing and a variety of tactile and messy play. A large part of their day will be spent cuddling and interacting with the caring nursery staff to strengthen those all-important attachments.
We aim to follow the home routines of each baby in our care, which include feeding habits, sleep patterns and any other specific needs. The baby unit has a separate sleep area and nappy changing facilities. A daily written report is provided for parents, consisting of such information as: feeds, nappy changes, sleep times and durations.

Services
High Hopes Day Nursery School is a purpose-built, fully-inclusive nursery providing full and part time care for children from six weeks to eight years of age. We are located on the grounds of Hope Hamilton Primary school in the heart of the Hamilton area. We work very closely with Hope Hamilton Primary School which provides a uniquely effective transition for the children into school.
At High Hopes Day Nursery School parents/carers of three and four year olds are able to claim 15 or 30 hours of funded childcare at no cost. Some two year olds may also be able to claim 15 hours of funded childcare. Funding is provided subject to criteria set by your local authority. Ask the Manager at the Nursery for further details.
Do I need to pay even if my child does not attend for reasons including ill health / doctors or dentist appointments/holidays/bank holidays/ extended leave?. You will still need to pay for you registered sessions even if your child does not attend as we have to staff sessions up front. Our preferred method of payment is via bank transfer.

Both of my daughters have attended with one currently still at High Hopes. Our experience from management through to individual carers and practitioners at the Nursery has been positive with both our girls enjoying their time. Feedback is constructive and in depth which allows us to gauge how they are doing and developing.

My son has attended High Hopes Nursery for just over 2 and a half years and I couldn’t be happier with the service that has been provided. He has been encouraged by the staff to socialise and has already made ‘best friends’. He comes home smiling and telling me all about his days which always include both fun and educational activities. He often asks me to take him to Nursery even when it’s not a nursery day! The staff are friendly and politely and I trust them completely with providing amazing care for my son. Both my daughters attend this nursery! My first daughter started there at 9 months when it first opened and Nirav and Jag have been amazing always going above and beyond for the past 3-4 years could not be any happier with their continuous professionalism in what they do. The staff are also amazing, Zara, Rebecca and Hannah who has had closed Contacts with my girls are amazing. If your looking for a nursery look no further xx

A lovely nursery with great staff. My child has loved her time at this nursery. They have been very accommodating and always helpful. My child has good relationships with her key workers at the nursery and I would definitely recommend it to other parents who are thinking about sending their children to High Hopes.
They also have a wide range of meals and do their best to ensure kids have a wide range of healthy food available.
A lovely outside play area too!

My daughter has attended this nursery for 3years and we are extremely sad to leave on to pastures new! The staff are fantastic across all 3 rooms and nothing is ever too much trouble. They are such a friendly and hardworking team putting the children’s needs at the very heart of everything they do. Activities are well planned and thought out to the children’s interests and development and regular updates/targets are shared in person and through the tapestry app. Food is cooked on site and is vegetarian, which has not been a problem and my daughter often has seconds at meal times she enjoys

My son started here 2 years ago on his last day he was sad to leave. All the staff are so polite and helpful especially when it comes to settling in. My son was very attached and the way that this nursery handled it was amazing. They kept me updated with everything my son was doing and at the end of the day they would tell me everything that he did. They are clean professional and organised. The thing that I was impressed with the most was how they teach the children life skills, for example to feed themselves going to the loo and simply just how to get on with everyday things like cutting up food

My daughter has been attending High Hopes Nursery and She absolutely loves it and runs in everyday. The nursery has a lovely, warm and inviting culture, which was something really important to us when choosing a nursery.
Every week there is a new activity or experience planned and she seems to be really thriving from the variety. Our regular catch-ups with her key worker are informing and reassuring. The general communications from the team at High hope nursery are also exemplary.
