Recently went for a meal at Henry's. The first course was excellent and plentiful. When the main course came we were gobsmacked. Their was a small plate which contained about seven halves of roast potatoes and a small amount of veg. This was among 4 of us. The main meal was lovely . Plentiful and well cooked. We had to ask for more potatoes and veg. A great meal let down by measly amount of potatoes and veg .

Lovely early evening meal at Henry’s. really smart and extremely clean restaurant with the best view over Loch… Ryan. Food did not disappoint. Children’s meal good quality ingredients used and so much better than most kids menu food. I had the most delicious Haddock risotto and the peach pannacotta was divine, with the perfect wobble! Cousin had pork and haggis, we both had pate to start. Even the breads served are baked daily, and the cheese board was huge with varied cheeses. Overall the food was scrumptious and the staff and owner were friendly and efficient. Thank you for

Came upon this little restaurant by chance two years ago on our way to the boat at Cairnryan. It is a little gem and is worth travelling to, even if you’re not staying close by. Deliberately made a stop this evening again and it just gets better. Great staff, wide variety of great food ( complements to the chef), reasonably priced and great views. Please open as a hotel and we will come and stay.

Very pleased we managed to get a table at our second attempt. The service was fantastic. Attentive but not over the top and very friendly. We had a problem with one of our mains but this was dealt with very well and the lady in charge seemed really upset that it wasn't right. Other than that the food was very good and nicely presented too. We had lobster to share and it was delicious. Starters and desserts were also excellent. We will definitely return when in the area.
