Fixed-Rate Mortgages allow you to know exactly what your monthly payments are. Regardless of the interest rate fluctuations your rate will be set to a fixed value for the agreed period, typically 2 to 5 years. This will give you peace of mind and stability in your monthly finances planning. At the end of the fixed rate term the interest rate will revert back to the lenders standard variable rate (SVR).
Discount Mortgages are often provided as an introductory offer from lenders to attract new customers. The interest rate will be based on their standard variable rate (SVR), but will be discounted by a set amount e.g. 2% less than the SVR for an agreed period of time. It will still track up and down with base rate changes but will always be below the SVR by the same amount.
Base-rate Tracker Mortgages track the movement of the Bank of England's base rate of interest by a set percentage for an agreed period. For example, a lender may offer 2% above the base rate. Any changes to the base rate, which are usually updated monthly, will be passed on to you for both upwards and downwards movements.
Buy-To-Let Mortgages are designed for people who want to buy property for the purpose of renting out to tenants. In the current climate of reduced house prices and lowest interest rates for many years, it can be seen as an attractive way of providing a long term investment.

Pure money helped us to re-mortgage our property. Everybody was very helpful especially Jeni Howe who helped us through step by step of the process. We had quite a few restrictions from our old lenders to overcome along the way. But i can honestly say Jeni helped us resolve the problems we had and got us the best deal. Absolute waste of time, the advisers have not got a clue what they are doing 4 weeks of stress and hassle and we are back to square one. Never use these brokers you are better off doing it yourself if I could have given them zero stars I would have done. I had better knowledge than the advisers at pure money poor service and just excuse after excuse. Avoid the like the plague.
