There is one bunker on the left hand side of the fairway, but it is best to avoid the right hand side, with an out-of-bounds the length of the hole, and some well developed trees to cause trouble to a wayward drive. The raised tee gives a good view of the fairway, which narrows down around the landing area for an average drive.
Members make their own arrangements (IN ADVANCE) with the secretary of the Club they wish to visit. Numbers to be kept to a reasonable level at any one visit as are the number of times visits are to the same Club. Some Clubs have put restrictions on the number of visitors at any one time and these are shown on the bottom of the list of participating Clubs.

Although the course is 9 holes and 18 tees, and quite short by a normal 18 hole course standards, it is a beautiful course in great condition. The views are amazing and every hole is different. The welcome was warm and friendly and everybody spoke to us. The green fee is only £20, which is great value for money. I would highly recommend you play this course if you are in North Devon. As someone has already said, this is a real gem of a golf course.

It's a very short 9 hole course which is fair enough it doesn't pretend anything else, but it's bunkers are very poor, the greens and tees criss cross each other. The Pro Shop is a tent.
However the worst aspect by far are the members we came across, they were belligerent and abusive.
I would advise any to give this golf club a very wide berth, pay the extra and spend the day at a proper golf club, I wish we had!

This is a nine hole golf course that can be played twice using different tees. It has some quite tight fairways and some wicked fairway slopes. The Greens are adequate and have been maintained. There is a small clubhouse that provides limited choice of food and a good range of drinks including a nice draft beer. The staff are very pleasant and helpful including all the members that we talked to. A little gem!
