Combining its traditional market town location with state-of-the-art facilities, the surgery serves pet owners and farmers alike in Boroughbridge, Ripon, Knaresborough and their surrounding areas. We are proud to provide our own independent 24/7 emergency service for registered clients, meaning it's always one of our own vets on call.

Our aim is to be traditional in care and values but to provide modern medicine and facilities. We are proud of our own out-of-hours service for registered clients, which is run exclusively by our own vets.
At Rae, Bean and Partners, we offer a wide range of services to cater for all types of horses, ponies and donkeys. We are proud to provide our own out of hours service by our own vets at no extra charge to registered clients. Please make sure that your horse's vaccinations are kept up to date. We send out regular booster reminders but unfortunately cannot guarantee their safe arrival to your door.
At Rae, Bean and Partners, we are happy to provide veterinary care and attention to all farm animals. Current clients' businesses range from large farms of over 1,200 cattle right down to smallholdings with just a few sheep. We aim to provide treatments and advice to our clients on an equal basis, regardless of size.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
We've partnered with Video Vets Now so you can speak to a vet from home or out and about - 7 days a week between 8am and 11pm. Consults are 10 mins and cost 24. If your pet needs to be seen by us or Vets Now, your original 24 payment will be refunded. We partnered with Video Vets Now to help you get the advice and reassurance you need, wherever you are.

Just got new puppy 9 weeks ago and never had a puppy before , so I was very anxious about my little Maisie . First visit and we were met by friendly caring and knowledgeable staff . Molly looked after Maisie and gave her a thorough check and reassurance as I am a very new puppy owner. Been back 4 times since for vaccines micro chipping and skin condition

I wouldn't have my animals under any other practice. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that make you feel at ease.
The animals most definitely come first and not the profits.
My dog has a very rare and hard to diagnose disease, thankfully they diagnosed her within 24hrs, saving her life. Whenever she has to go back in the care is personal, even getting visiting time 😁
