We have a position available for a part-time, permanent, small animal veterinary surgeon to join our friendly team at our 24-hour hospital. At The Minster Veterinary practice, we pride ourselves on offering a high standard of patient care to the animals of York.
To contact the emergency service, please telephone the usual telephone number 01904 643997. You will then be able to select for your call to be automatically transferred to York Emergency Vets. The emergency service is called York Emergency Vets and is staffed by our dedicated team of night staff at our RCVS accredited hospital on Salisbury Road in York.
For your convenience, we offer 15-minute consultations, which are by appointment and a wide range of appointment times are available throughout the week and weekends. Please telephone the surgery of your choice to check times and availability. If your pet has a problem during surgery hours, please telephone the practice immediately and we will ensure that you are offered an appointment on a priority basis.
Our nursing team run regular clinics to look after the general health of your pet. We hold nursing clinics at out Copmanthorpe, Crockey Hill and Willow Grove branch surgeries. We aim to provide the best care your pet needs from their junior to senior years. Please call your nearest branch if you would like to book an appointment with one of our nurses.
