Thomas Sneddon Funeral Directors are one of the leading family run funeral directors serving the East Stirlingshire and North Lanarkshire areas, with locations in Grangemouth Coatbridge and Camelon. Tom, born and raised in Grangemouth is a Managing Director of the family business. Tom entered into the funeral profession at a young age casually working for several funeral companies in the area, this is when his passion for funeral directing grew.
On leaving school he completed an apprenticeship in Plumbing though this is not where his future lay, he furthered his career by becoming an active member in the Ochil's mountain rescue team and International Rescue Corps, before joining the Scottish Ambulance Service where he spent approximately 22 years, during which time he met his wife Mary, then in the final 4 years of emergency duties, Tom studied and was awarded The National Association of Funeral Directors Diploma in Funeral Directing and remains one of few qualified funeral directors in the area.
