Bromborough Golf Club
Located in a mature part of the Leverhulme Estate at the heart of the Wirral Peninsula, Bromborough is renowned as a hidden gem of a Golf Course; "Wirral's Parkland Jewel"(R). For over 100 years golfers have been tackling the distinctive 18 holes that play between 6300 and 6600 yards depending on the tees used.

Its quality can be evidenced by its selection to host the English Amateur Matchplay Championship in 2005, English Men's Seniors Championship 2003 the Cheshire Matchplay in 2010, Cheshire Strokeplay Championship in 2017 and Cheshire Seniors Strokeplay Championship in 2018. We are also proud to be the home of European Tour star, Paul Waring, winner of the Nordea Masters in 2018.
Services
The Wirral Peninsula is building an impressive reputation as an outstanding, value for money, golfing destination. The climate benefits from the moderating effects of the Gulf Stream and the nearby cities of Chester and Liverpool offer a host of attractions. Golf destinations that are priced in Euros have become ruinously expensive.
BGC members are not allowed to enter Ladies and Senior Opens and are restricted to 2 members per team in the Mixed & Team events. Bromborough members cannot enter the Team Opens whilst logged-in to the Members' section of the website. All applicants should be members of a golf club affiliated to CONGU and able to prove possession of an official Handicap Index under the new World Handicap System.
Our rates for visitor green fees vary depending on the season the time of the week and the number of players for the tee time. In addition we offer "Best Value Deals" from time to time, which can be especially good for 4balls. Check those deals with our Professional on 0151 334 4499. Society rates are subject to a discount by negotiation, depending on the size of the Group and catering requirements.
In accordance with the spirit and letter of the Equality Act 2009 the following guidelines have been approved and are written with the intention of avoiding discrimination in any way. As with the vast majority of golf clubs we ask our members to adopt a minimum standard of dress and ask that visitors abide by the same code.
Bromborough Golf Club offers discounted Green Fees for Golf Societies and other group bookings of 12 or more golfers. Tee times are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and most Sundays all for 18, 27 or 36 holes. We recommend that group organisers speak to our Professional, Geoff Berry Tel: 0151 334 4499 or 0151 334 2155 Option 1, to check availability for your preferred date and obtain details of any Society Specials that may apply.

Long-ish course with several very tough holes. Well kept and lots of improvements going on. The greens are quick and tricky. Not sure it merits a slope index as high as 135 though. Friendly bar staff, decent choice of food and drinks. Lovely veranda linked to the bar and overlooking 18th green. Happy to return. WHS 22.5 score 99.

Excellent course and clubhouse but the greens were not up to the usual standard compared to when I have played here in the past. Would still recommend playing here though as its always a great challenge.

What a beautiful parkland course. The greens are in fantastic condition, also had delicious food after the round. I had a lovely round of golf with the Chief Golf Officer of the club and I am not allowed to say who won as would like to be invited back 😀⛳.

A decent course and worth a visit. Some greens and tees are a bit close to each other. Greens had been worked on when we played so were very slow. Would like to play the course again when the greens are good.

I'm a member of this course, which i think is the best parkland course in the area. Its also the home club of Paul Waring, the European Tour Pro who won the 2018 Nordea Masters. You'll really enjoy the course and the clubhouse staff are nice as is the food.
