I offer a professional and confidential service in which I deal with you holistically, as a whole person rather than a collection of symptoms or problems. My approach incorporates mindfulness and compassion; I see myself as accompanying you on your journey to better health and increased happiness. I work with adults (18+) individually or in couples.

There is no minimum or maximum number of sessions. You might find that after 4 or 5 you are feeling better or you may need to attend for months or years to address deep seated issues or trauma. My orientation is Transpersonal, which is a perspective that incorporates a range of approaches - CBT, Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, and Existential.

Generally part of the psychotherapeutic process is that you know little, if anything, about your therapist and if this suits you, then read no further. For some, you like to be reassured that your chosen therapist will be able to understand and empathise with you and part of that reassurance relates to their background.
In your journey through life you may experience loss and pain; you may feel that you are losing control, or that your life lacks the meaning it once had. You may find that you are becoming dissatisfied with or uncertain about the relationship between you and your partner, or with relatives, friends or work colleagues.
I am a UKCP Registered Supervisor, having trained in 2004 - 2005. As well as other qualified and trainee counsellors and psychotherapists I Supervise Cruse Bereavement Care and Mind counsellors in groups and individually. Since I trained transpersonally and teach on an integrative course I can supervise counsellors who have been trained in a range of modalities.
The addiction can cover a broad range of problems: parents that are involved with another partner, a relationship addiction, a food addiction, gambling, sleeping, an addiction to TV.' Instead of transcending ourselves, we need to move into ourselves. We're talking about human unsuccess - not failure, but the unsuccess that is human, in contrast to the perfection that rapes the soul.
