Very attentive and caring hosts. Lovely room (superior double): clean and stylish, as was the whole hotel, with all mod cons and a very comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Easy parking- short walk to Gainsborough Old Hall, which is fabulous. Just what we hoped for. Room was ready even though we arrived early.

Our most superior room. With a four poster king size bed, deep soaking bath, twin sinks and views of the front lawn. Ideal for a special occasion. Located on the ground floor, our accessible room includes hand rails, a large wet room with chair, high toilet, emergency cord while still decorated to a beautiful standard.
It is also the ideal place where you can celebrate a birthday, christening, an anniversary, wedding reception or any other special occasion. As members of Select Lincolnshire we aim to source as many products as possible from Lincolnshire. Currently we source our Sausages, Gammon Steaks and Smoked Streaky bacon from Redhill Farm in Blyton.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, unfortunately we are unable to host event nights as we usually do. This is disheartening for us too, as we love to see new and regular faces enjoying a sing-a-long or a boogie on the dancefloor. It is particularly sad that we cannot give a stage to our regular live singers and acts who we know will be missed during this time.
Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield is convenient and popular for holidaymakers and business travellers. It is a treat to travel from this brand new terminal building. The runway at 2,741 metres, is able to handle Boeing 747 jumbo jets, which allows it to serve popular destinations in the US, Caribbean, Far East as well as Europe.
The Hickman Hill Hotel is a privately owned business with 10 en suite bedrooms plus restaurant & bar. There is one superior en-suite room on the ground floor. This is accessible by wheelchair. The remaining rooms are only accessible by stairs. As we are a grade 2 listed property we are unable to install a disabled platform lift.

It's probably one of if not thee best places I've stayed in the last twenty 20yrs.The bedrooms are spacious and bright with excellent decor,the food is amazing and not only is it a hotel with a superb restaurant it a great venue for parties and functions.But all that means nothing without a good atmosphere and good management which it has with the couple that run the place with there enthusiastic approach and can't do enough for you attitude it's a place that should be visited

Friendly staff . Not worth the price for what you get though and if we had been told there was an event going off for when we'd booked then we wouldn't have booked in for then. Music was so loud, couldn't sleep, made the whole room shake. Room was way to hot even though we turned radiator's off and couldn't have the window open because we had been placed in a room above the entrance where drunk people were just adding to the noise. Really not worth the money spent and opposite of what I would be expect. Never again.
