First time visiting this hotel. We booked to visit for my wife's 40th birthday. An extremely nice restaurant with uniformed staff who obviously had been trained to carry out their duties in a professional manner. All the meet and greet procedures that you would expect for a high quality hotel and restaurant. The meals were to a high standard and had been cooked to order and served on bespoke plates. The check back service was also carried out to ensure that our food was OK. I couldn't fault the service, everything we asked for were served correctly. For peace of mind there was a security man stationed

Overall the place was nice, to he function room quality of the food made for a great wedding. The function room is small bit beautiful!
The rooms "normal rooms" were ok, bath/ shower with a fixed shower screen wasn't ideal. And no way of removing the shower head for a proper wash. The bath was pretty small... The corridor carpet was worn and loose at the bottom of the he ramp. The price of drinks!! £12 for a pint of lager and a G&T!
Oh and the he heat!! Please invest in WORKING AIR CON!!
