It is advertised as a signature hotel. The check in was certainly not welcoming. The staff at the desk had to be rung in and was a bit stroppy. A food supplement was paid for by my company but they didn’t provide food and the timings were not updated in the guest information booklet provided. The gym was very well equipped. The pool had a great length. The steam room was one of the best I’ve been so far, the jacuzzi was closed at 8:30 Pm when I asked the staff they said that they need to clean it for a 9 pm close. Why advertise that it is open until 9 pm then! I was expecting to be let in at

I visited Hellaby Hall Hotel for a wedding. This beautiful hall and it's staff are the ideal place for holding those once in a lifetime special moments.
The staff are friendly, respectful and helpful.
The Hall and grounds are beautiful and even boast a fitness spa to add that extra special relaxation time or for those fitness fanatics aiming for their daily boost of energy this place is a must.
The Hall boasts a good sized parking area, which is well maintained.
Hellaby Hall Hotel has all the historical elegance to make your stay a truly memorable one.

We went there for a wedding but found the reception rooms either warm or cold, plus we had to sit in the hotel foyer for over an hour so the staff could get the room ready for our meal. the hotel front door was automatic and every time someone passed it , it opened letting even more cold air in. We thought that the bar prices were a bit high even for hotel standards. Pam on reception was very helpful to us and would definitely recommend her for a pay rise.

Went for a spa day. Lovely afternoon too, the only down falls were that we had to wake across the car park in our dressing gown?! And the women who served us afternoon tea seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. We were booked in for 12 and she said it was half 2 when it wasn't and then she nearly took our afternoon tea to a different table that had ordered light lunch and they ended up waiting ages for there
