A very warm welcome to anyone looking at our website. We have tried to combine providing information with a flavour of some of our school activities and hope you enjoy the results. This is a school where all children feel safe and enjoy coming to school. I am very proud to share our learning environments with new parents and visitors.

Services
Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils;. Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent. The Governing Body of Langenhoe Community Primary School is made up of: The Head Teacher (Ex-officio), one staff member, one appointed by the local authority, five parent governors (elected by the parents) and four co-opted governors.
At Langehoe Community Primary School we are always working hard to make improvements, working with parents and other outside professionals to better our practice and ensure our children have the best possible experiences and achieve their full potential during their time at our school. Provide an engaging, relevant, broad and balanced education for all pupils that's coherently planned and sequenced towards cumulatively sufficient knowledge for skills and future learning. Enable pupils to develop knowledge, understand concepts and acquire skills, and be able to choose and apply these in relevant situations.
At Langenhoe, we are always looking for ways to go on shared learning journeys and bring the school community together. Each half term, we plan a themed week in which we either explore a topic or focus on a specific curriculum subject in depth as a whole school. Our aim is to provide children with immersive and memorable learning experiences, all of which are brought together in a shared experience or celebratory event at the end of the week.
At Langenhoe we are very fortunate to have extensive grounds, a playground, large field and wooded area with trees and a willow arch. There is plenty of room for the children to explore, invent games and participate in lots of sporting activities. During playtimes and lunchtimes we make maximum use of all of our outdoor space.
