Having worked in the City for 17 years, I became interested in hypnotherapy after a friend used hypnosis to quit smoking, and I had hypnotherapy in 1998 for the drug-free and virtually painless birth of my son. I was so impressed with the effectiveness of hypnotherapy that I decided to make it my career.
Using a therapy known as BWRT (Brain Working Recursive Therapy), we can work together to change your response to overeating and bingeing triggers, often in as few as one to three sessions. As much as you would love to quit smoking for good, do you ever FEAR a future without cigarettes? You may have tried to imagine what life would be like without cigarettes and just couldn't bear the thought of it. This is actually "negative self-hypnosis". Hypnosis has often been described as "the mind's ability to convince itself that something is true".
Well, I'm 12 days post session and it's going very well. I haven't smoked since the one I had before our session started. I feel like I have a whole new attitude to smoking now; one that I have never been able to adopt before when I have tried giving up. I have no doubt that I will never smoke again.
