Services
All lessons will last for the full duration booked. I don't short change you by finishing early, and a full debrief will be given after each lesson. If you are looking to pass your test quickly, or have a test already booked and need some booster lessons I can normally offer semi intensive courses to help get you there.
As a photo is required for your licence the DVLA can use your passport photo if you have one. If you don't have one, or you want to use a different one, this will need to be sent to the DVLA separately. You can find costs for all licence types here. Before you start the hazard perception part of the test, you'll be shown a short video clip about how it works before being shown a series of video clips on a computer screen.
Tell me where you'd find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked. Manufacturer's guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don't forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps. Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted so it provides the best protection in the event of a crash.
Unfortuantely, statistics show that new drivers of any age are more likely to have a collission within the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving career. While this is really just down to a lack of experience insurance premiums merely reflect the increased risk.

Mike Moody is without doubt a truly excellent and professional driving instructor, both my son and daughter have learnt to drive with him and are now both fully qualified and profficient road users. Mike was always on time with every booking, ensured the full 1 or 2 hour sessions were provided each time. After every session a round up of positive and negative items were discussed. I have no hesitation at all to recommend Mike to anyone in the Basingstoke area looking for a patient and thoroughly professional teacher. Karen was my drivIng instructor, i always felt relaxed on my lessons as Karen has a calming influence. I also really wanted a lady driving instructor and this also helped me to feel relaxed. I struggled with some aspects of driving and Karen was always calm and helped me to develop my confidence in all areas of driving.
I would recommend the independent driving school/ Karen because at the end of every lesson we would go through how I had improved and we would set aims for me to complete next lesson, it was a really positive experience and it helped me to build my confidence.

I initially was enjoying the lessons, but recently he has been turning up late and today he didn't even turn up I have had 2 hour lessons every week and had one booked today Friday the 22nd at 12:45 he still hadn't turnt up at 13:45 then thinking something could of have happened and as I went out in my car with my mum and saw him driving around with another learner driver and when I had sent him multiple messages and called him he as read the messages and just ignored them, not only that it's the fact that my test is not far away and he has let me down massively as all of the other driving schools
