My brother, mother, and myself stayed in one room here for one night, while we attended a memorial in Cambridge. The customer service was exceptional - Athena went above and beyond to accommodate our arrival time and specific needs during our stay. The beds were really comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Our room was at the back away from the road, and it was very quiet at night. The room was compact, but there was a common area you could stretch out where my brother was able to plug in his laptop and get some work done.

The hotel isn’t close to the town Centre as described in the description. We booked two rooms and one of them was exceedingly appalling. Left take away boxes with food inside, empty snack wrappers etc inside the draws. Beyond dusty. Couldn’t use showers in both rooms as it was filthy, the ceiling fans were so dusty, couldn’t use it as we have asthma and just general poor hygiene to have it on. Not worth the money. Called the owner (Athena) to speak about the takeaway issue and cleanliness and her response was pretty irate, said it’s only a draw with rubbish in and to put it outside our

This guest house has family rooms, so was ideal for my family of 4 adults. Other places offered 2 rooms which worked out more expensive and you wouldn't be together. There are 5 parking spaces outside. The place is clean and well maintained. Due to the virus, breakfast is not available and the lounge and garden areas are not in use. There is tea/coffee making facilities in the room, although no staff was available to get any extras (we needed peppermint or green tea and some more milk).

I opened the drawer in the bedside cabinet to find a pile of half eaten takeaways, packets of crisps and general finger food rubbish. When we called the owner of the property to make her aware and to ask if the room had been cleaned previously, to which she got loud and angry down the phone, telling us that is only a drawer and we could have left the contents on the floor in the corridor outside, to which we replied that we really shouldn't have to add it should have been cleaned before we got here, her answer was "it was but my cleaning lady let me down so I did it myself" Which is why I asked

The room is of good size for a double room. The bathroom is very nice, shower could be improved but still very nice, Their was TV in the room. Storage space was good. Lamps either side of the bed are nice. Staff are very polite and friendly. Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was lovely. Would highly recommend this to someone visiting Cambridge for a night or two. Very nice overall. Would come back.
