We really enjoyed our stay here, a very cozy and comfortable place. They included and amazing breakfast as well everyday. We decided to extend our stay a fews days. The Owners were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Its also in a perfect location. Close to beaches, shops, pubs etc Would definitely recommend and return!

Margaret and Owen were excellent hosts, made us feel really welcome from the get go. Rooms were lovely clean and spacious, and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast portions were generous. Location of the guesthouse was perfect, less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and shops. We will definitely be back!

A nice little guest house located in a magnificent location overlooking Newquay beach. Nice big rooms with large comfy beds. A very friendly staff. The breakfast was very good. Only issue is they don't have their own parking, but can always park in the road in front or there is a park nearby. There is a complex narrow road system in Newquay and therefore, always follow the way provided by the hotel in the email. Close to Newquay / Tintagel area.

A lovely place to stay, excellent location and a good breakfast. Margaret was lovely and welcoming and gave us lots of good recommendations for things to do, places to eat etc, however Owen seemed a little less friendly. Our room was modern and clean, although was heavily overlooked by a residential building so could do with some sort of blind for some privacy. The biggest downfall for us was that our room was left unlocked after being cleaned one day. We had left a number of vulnerable items locked inside the room whilst out for the day - luckily nothing was taken, but as a couple who are big

We loved our stay here! The room was clean and spacious, and we made good use of the fan on the wall, glad that was provided for the mini heatwave! Breakfast was on point every day, as the coffee and food were great plus there was lots of choice. Great location as you’re able to walk everywhere in Newquay. Be prepared for the worst case scenario of not getting on street parking outside the hotel, as there is limited space. However the long stay car park is only a short walk away so it did not bother us at all.

Excellent Guest House in a superb location in the centre of Newquay with sea/beach view. Recent refurbished to a very high standard - everything about the place is well thought out and high quality. More like a Hotel than a Guest House. The owners, Margaret and Owen, are lovely friendly people who make everyone feel welcome and have clearly worked hard to make their place as good as it can be. Lovely holiday - would highly recommend the Oyo Minerva.

Had a room for 2 nights and it was great. Location is amazing, everything is in walking distance, a nice small beach is just kinda outside the door, through a park and you are there. Loved it and would definitely come back here. Room had everything needed with a really nice bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked.
The owners were super friendly. Watched Football together one evening with the owners and some guest, such a nice atmosphere.
