Over the years, we have grown as a small independent opticians based on customer recommendations and word of mouth. Established in 1979, GLYN JONES OPTICIANS started life in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire as a small practice with just four employees. As the demand for our services increased, it became necessary to relocate to larger premises.

I have visited Glyn Jones a few times now, and always been impressed by the service there, the optician was very re-assuring and explained everything, and when I've had problems with my eyes, gave me lots of helpful tips to stop the problems recurring. The staff are also friendly and helpful, without being pushy, they will give you advice about frames if you want it, but also leave you alone to browse and try on glasses if you would rather do that. There are styles to suit all tastes and budgets and lots of choice and i am pleased with my new glasses and the overall experience at Glyn Jones.

Too often customers take great pleasure in leaving poor experience reviews but seldom do they take time to bestow praise where praise is clearly due.
My experience with Glyn Jones Opticians from start to finish was world class.
I'm sure the gentleman was named Neil Huxley, hopefully that's his name. I'm unsure of the name of the lady who was also excellent.

I've been suffering from occasional migraines for the past decade, but recently (with increased job pressure causing me to spend 12+ hours behind a computer screen some days) they had begun to increase in frequency. I spoke to my GP who suggested buying some amber lensed glasses to filter out the blue light as this can be a trigger for migraines. As I already wear prescription glasses I had to buy an oversized pair of amber lensed glasses to wear over my normal glasses.
