Lindfield Golf Club is set in picturesque countryside close to Haywards Heath in West Sussex. Our parkland course, designed by Patrick Tallack, was founded in 1990. Stretching to 5,957 yards off the white tees, it plays to a par of 70. There are some challenging holes, water hazards to negotiate and testing bunkers to penalise the wayward.
But for all that there are birdie opportunities too and it is a fair and appealing test to players of all abilities. Lindfield Golf Club has everything required for the focused golfer looking to better their game and lower their handicap. Our flexible, friendly and welcoming approach means we are a popular destination for visitors and golfing societies.

Services
Green fees are very reasonably priced and there is the opportunity to play just nine holes if you are short of time, although the full 18 represents the better option because it offers outstanding value and there are some very strong holes on both the outward and inward nines. Many society organisers prefer pre-set packages as it makes choice easier for them and their group and a summary of our most popular options is listed below.
As with last year we are not asking members to top-up their Gold Cards at the time of renewal due to the uncertainty as to when the clubhouse food and beverage facilities will be permitted to re-open. Depending on circumstances at the time of renewal we may be able to take payments by credit card at the bar in the clubhouse.
Lindfield Golf Club has a range of memberships available to those wishing to become part of our friendly club. With frequent competitions, a picturesque course and excellent facilities it represents an excellent choice and now is a particularly good time to join as there is currently no joining fee.
Lindfield Golf Club has everything required for the focused golfer looking to better their game and lower their handicap. There is some excellent tuition available from some of the best coaches in the South of England and the facilities to put their teachings into practice. Just before you get to the range there is an inviting if undulating chipping and pitching area near the 18th green which also features a practice bunker.

The worst golf club iv ever been to, very poor condition and the staff are extremely rude and and unhelpful.
The web site says 24 practice bays where the mats must be 10 years old.
The site also says practice off of mats or turf but I got moaned at and asked to leave because I was practicing on the turf by and extremely rude member of staff who needs to go to a charm school to learn who to talk to people, don’t wast your money or time going there.

Beautiful sunny day for golf, shame about the course. Wet, muddy and soggy. Worse part was every green had pitch marks all over them, fairways had un repaired divots. Even on the 4th someone had decided to put… a cone out for pitching practice and left the cone on the fairway along with 10 unrepaired divots. Also the course could really do with some signs where to go, went wrong twice. Did actually find a sign covered over with bushes. Very disappointed 😔

We have been here 6/7 times now and have found Grass cuttings left on the fairways every time. Groundsman needs to do another sweep and pick up the grass. Banks near green are ridiculous, your never find your ball its way too deep.
Dissapointing as it could be a really nice course but just not getting the attention it needs.
