We aim to inspire our pupils to dream big and aspire to make their dreams a reality. We will provide our pupils with many opportunities to experience extraordinary things, find positive role models and discover what they want to achieve in their lives now, and in the future. At St. Columba's, we believe in ourselves and each other.
Through strong relationships and trust, we support our pupils in believing they can achieve their goals. A Christian faith underpins our school values and pupils are reminded that God believes in them and gives them strength. We aim to teach pupils that success requires hard work and dedication. We support our pupils in making progress by helping them to set targets and take the steps they need to take.

I hope this website gives you a glimpse into the wonderful life in St. Columba's where we strive to help our pupils become the best that they can be. We aim to help our pupils reach their full potential academically through the learning experiences provided by our excellent teaching staff and highly-experienced classroom assistants.
In St. Columba's we have a highly motivated and dedicated staff. They work together as a caring and happy team to ensure that all our children have a fulfilling experience each day that they come to school. We also have a number of teaching students, classroom assistants and volunteers who do their work placements in our school.
St. Columba's Primary school was chosen from 817 primary schools in Northern Ireland to feature as the one Case Study School for Education in the Primary Sector in Northern Ireland as part of the Chief Inspectors Report 2016-2018. This was a great commendation and recognition for the school. We are very privileged and happy to have been chosen as an example of outstanding practice.
We are offering a wide range of After-Schools Clubs again this term. We endeavour to provide a balance of fitness and creative clubs. It is highly important that children develop their talents and interests at primary school level. We hope they will further develop these talents and gain great enjoyment from them for the rest of their lives.
We have tried to group the closures in blocks as much as possible so that it is easier for families to plan childcare and holidays. Staff training and school development is an essential part of running any school. We use this time to further develop our school as we work towards our School Development Plan targets in order to deliver excellent education to our pupils.
