At The Millbrook we pride ourselves on the warm welcome that we offer all, regardless of age or golfing experience. Whether you are a seasoned golfer looking to join a friendly vibrant club, an occasional golfer out to play with friends or completely new to the game and keen to learn then we're sure that you'll find that this is just the place for you.

Nestling in woodland by the delightful village of Millbrook, we are in a beautiful part of Bedfordshire between Woburn and the historic market town of Ampthill. We are therefore conveniently situated just 10 minutes from M1 jct 13, 25 minutes from central Milton Keynes and only 2 minutes from Center Parcs Woburn Forest.
Services
The Millbrook is owned by our Membership and we reinvest our revenues in making the club the best it can be for members and day visitors alike. Our course was laid out in 1977 and has matured so well that we have hosted the Bedfordshire County Championship and County Matches; which is a testament to both the course and our facilities.
Pre-round warm-up, mid-week practice or long term swing changes, members and visitors are welcome to use our purpose built, open-air facility. Much like our golf course, the warm-up area opens and shuts dependant on daylight. Located between the warm-up area and the 8th hole, a well kept area of turf measuring 250 yards in length and 80 yards wide is available for members wishing to hit their own balls.
In competitions at The Millbrook, a Hole-in-One is celebrated with a bottle or two opened behind the bar but we would like to capture these happy events with a few more details and a photograph. I knew I had to clear the dip in front of the green in order to make the green, so I choose my favourite club, the 5 wood.
We look forward to welcoming individual Visitors and Societies alike and make every effort to present ourselves and our course at its very best. We treat all visiting golfers as members for the day and will do everything we can to provide you with an experience to suit you. It is intention that you enjoy not just your rounds of golf but your whole time with us.
We are an informal club and it is our aim that every member and guest feels relaxed and comfortable so we have no archaic rules like jackets and ties etc but we do expect some minimum standards so please take a look at the picture below to see what we would expect. The same dress code applies for the Clubhouse, although golf shoes are not allowed in the bar or restaurant areas.

No mention on the website that it’s 18 holes off mats that you can hardly get a tee in to covered in mud

Excellent greens on a challenging course that winds and inclines in the Bedfordshire countryside. Disappointing to play off 6 mats having paid £25 on the county card and the restaurant didn't open till 11am so we missed our traditional pre match breakfast

Long course in very good condition. Greens were a little slow but probably time of year. The only down bit are a few hills that does take it out of you, enjoyable round though.

A beautiful course. Far too challenging for a golfer of my abilities. Millbrook advise that no one plays the course if their handicap is over 28. With tight fairways, long rough and very fast undulating greens the course provides a challenge for even the experienced golfer, let alone a relatively new one. Fantastic facilities and the course was in beautiful condition. I’ll definitely return when my golfing ability matches the challenges of the course.

Became a member this year in April 21, proper test of golf. Any offline shots punished as they should be. Fast tough greens. Great layout with memorable holes. Highly recommended

Not exactly the most hospitable reception in the Pro-shop but that is down to personality and lack of professionalism on this occasion. I am not a softy but, even I was taken back by the unfriendly "welcome".
Course is in need of some TLC and, because of its undulations, your lie can be tricky on occasion. Greens are ropey but hey, it was summer and very dry so perhaps they will pick up a bit once the rains arrive.

I have played some tough tracks and this is in the top 10. It would be easier to score in a convent unless you are willing to keep your focus. If you are 18+ handicapper

Lovely yet very long golf course, challenging so great place to take on your friends and colleagues.

Set in very scenic and hilly Bedfordshire countryside offers means a long tough walk always earns you a pint or 2 in thevery relaxed and newly developed club house, wheere traditional pub grub is offered at very good prices.
