A very big thank you to you and your staff for the excellent welcome, course and food you provided for us on Friday. We enjoyed the warm welcome, the catering was great and the course was in very good condition so we were able to crown a worthy winner. Many of my members said they really enjoyed the different challenges the course presented, particularly the different feel for the 'old' part vs. the newer holes.

The present site of the golf course and the club's constitution were established in 1919. Originally named the 'Rushden and District Golf Club', the 'District' being removed in 1986. The club began some years prior to 1919 with a small group of local business men marking out and playing a few holes in a field at Stanwick.
I am very honoured to be Captain of this great club. A visit to Rushden Golf Club will see you made very welcome, we are very active across all sections as my fellow Captains will tell you below. Whether you enjoy social or competitive golf you will find both here at RGC, also we have some great social events at the club.
At Rushden Golf Club, we welcome societies throughout the year. There are various options available to accommodate your society day. Whatever your requirements, we are more than happy to tailor the day to suit your needs. Once we have arranged your date you will receive a society booking form - on this you will be able to detail your requirements for the day - including nearest the pin markers, buggy hire and catering requirements.
Choose the type of membership that meets your needs, whether for regular weekend golf, competitive or social golf with the Seniors on a Tuesday, or golf with the Ladies Section on a Wednesday afternoon. This entitles you to unrestricted playing rights at Rushden and subject to handicap and the rules of the competition, entry into Club competitions.

Played the course for the first time with a group of people from our village golf society. We were unfortunate to pick a day when only 9 holes were open with the back 9 undergoing essential spring maintenance.
That is where the negatives finish. Despite the well sanded greens, the course played extremely well and the hospitality in both the Pro-shop and the clubhouse were as good as you will find anywhere. We had lunch as part of the excellent value package and the ham, eggs and chips were worth the money on their own.
