The business was founded in 1992 by husband and wife, Neil and Kath Harvey, with a view to providing families in and around Leyland with an independent funeral director with local values and in 2012 daughter Laura joined the team. Prior to founding the business, Neil worked at a local funeral home, gaining valuable experience within the trade.

Neil and Kath Harvey Funerals Ltd offer a comprehensive service, working with families of all faiths and none, helping to ease the pressure of making funeral and burial arrangements. We serve customers throughout Leyland surrounding areas. Traditional and modern caskets and coffins can be provided with a variety of styles and finishes available.
At N & K Harvey Funeral we offer complete funeral services and funeral home for customers throughout Leyland and surrounding areas. During your initial call, you will need to provide basic details, such as whether the deceased has died at their home or in a private nursing home. Once we have this information, we will then make arrangements for the deceased to be taken to our private chapel of rest.
N & K Harvey Funerals offer a range of pre-paid funeral plans through Golden Charter to customers in Leyland and nearby areas. Golden Charter Funeral Plans offer flexible payment options, allowing you to pay manageable instalments towards the cost of the funeral. Plans are available to suit a wide range of budgets and requirements.
Our fleet includes a Coleman Milne hearse, a seven-seater Coleman Milne limousine and four seater Rolls Royce limousine. All our vehicles are regularly cleaned, serviced and inspected before hire, ensuring a comfortable journey. These vehicles are driven by members of our team. All drivers are courteous and smartly presented.
Neil and Kath and Harvey Funerals Ltd can provide memorial monuments and headstones as a tribute to your loved one and their memory. A headstone can be crafted to your specification with a personalised inscription, with permission from the relevant authorities i.e. Church, Cemetery. We will make all the necessary arrangements ahead of the burial or cremation for your peace of mind.

May I take this opportunity to thank Harvey’s for the best send of my farther in law Tom had on Thursday 19th August, they have so much compassion, curtesy, and professionalism you could have wished for. Very professional and sympathetic people. Laura did a great job keeping us informed about would happen, this had to be done over the phone because of covid 19. The flowers she ordered for us were beautiful and she even split them into bunches for us to take home as a rememberance.. and the lovely Mike Faun who performed the service. Well done all at Harveys.
