Glen Afton is a terraced Victorian house on 3 floors which we have extensively renovated to a very high standard. Thus we will be giving our guests the best quality accommodation as well as our welcoming Cornish hospitality for which has been our trademark which we have been providing for over 20 years.

We are pleasantly situated in Alexendra road, which is a beautiful tree lined avenue leading off the promenade. It is a 2 minute walk to Penlee park and a 5 minute stroll through to the town centre. Parking is unrestricted and is on both sides of the road. Penzance itself is centrally located for touring the beautiful West Cornwall area which is famous and renowned for its marvellous beaches, coves, the Minach Theatre and St. Michaels Mount.

This iconic island rises gracefully to the church and castle at its summit. Accessible on foot at low tide across a causeway, at other times it is reached by a short evocative boat trip. The oldest surviving buildings date from the 12th century, when a Benedictine priory was founded here. Following the English Civil War, the island was acquired by the St Aubyn family, who still live in the castle.

We booked online paid in full travelled all the way from Shropshire 6 hour drive to have a phone call as we were in Penzance to say they had given our room to someone else. Absolutely appalling as kept in contact most of the day as we got stuck in traffic.

Glen Afton is a fabulous b&b. It’s located just a short walk to the promenade as well as the high street. The rooms were spotless and tastefully decorated with a sea and maritime motifs. The breakfast was delicious cooked by the hostess Carol. But the best thing about Glen Afton is its host Keith. He was friendly, helpful, kind and very gracious. We will definitely go back.

This is such a great guest house! The owners are incredibly friendly and give a warm welcome. Keith has nice humor! The breakfast is delicious and is prepared every morning to your liking.
The guest house is located in a busy but cozy street where there is always a parking spot. It is a perfect place to discover beautiful Cornwall from here due to its central location.
But also Penzance itself is worth a visit with its pleasant promenade, nice shops and the beautiful Morab Park.
The room is spacious, bright and cozy and are cleaned neatly on a daily basis. The mattresses are honestly in need

Amazing service, very clean rooms and quality breakfast all wrapped up with a low cost price tag. Location is good there's many takeaway places open till late with a 4 minute drive. Only advice take some toothpaste with you.
