Located amidst the beautiful Surrey countryside, Bowenhurst golf club offers a picturesque nine-hole, parkland golf course, which is ideally suited to beginners and more experienced golfers alike. The club benefits from facilities including a 24 bay floodlit driving range, two practice putting greens, a practice bunker and a well-stocked club shop.

The narrow fairways and, in particular, the cleverly positioned hazards require thought and accuracy from the tee. The two lakes provide distracting natural water features. Private lessons are available for those who feel they could use a little advice and pointers in the right direction.
Services
A pretty but tricky first hole with a pond to the right of the fairway and a two-tier green to test your putting skills. A seemingly straightforward hole but with a bunker either side of the green accuracy is needed on this Par 3 teaser. This is a tight dog leg left hole with a tree obstructing a straight forward shot to the first bend and a pond on the second.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Place looks like a disused scrap yard - consistently closed when signage says they are open, at all different times of day - do not waste your time travelling there.

A very run-down place. Golf mats are threadbare and unusable. I won't be returning. There are far nicer places around for a little more money, for example, Blackwater Valley Golf driving range.

I go there to use the driving range. £3 for 50 balls which I suppose is about average. However the whole site is a bit of a tip with empty cans and bottles all over the place with vehicles which look abandoned in the car park, this makes me concerned about the safety of my own vehicle whilst parked.
The driving range itself is ok but not all the bays are available due to ongoing maintenance and never have I seen all three ball dispensing machines working at the same time.
However if the owners want to sell the site there is a negotiation to be had.

Arrived with the family and to be honest i thought the place had been shut down. Absolute tip. All toilets locked and nowhere to get £1 coins as that's all it accepts. Don't waste your fuel going there.

This place is super cheap - £3 for 50 balls. You get what you pay for. Mats haven't been replaced since forever and you can only pay at the ball machine with £1 coins. The balls are Ok. This place will be busier since Oak Park closed for business. If they replaced the tees and fixed some mats this place would be ok. Apparently you can't hit your driver as there is no net at the back. So much potential, so little cash invested - I guess due to COVID. There appears to be no 9 hole golf course. I guess it closed.

Does the job, good value. £3 for 50 balls but you'll need 3 x £1 coins.

Shocking service, run down place. DO NOT GO HERE. The women who runs this business has not got a clue. Aggressive and rude coming in and screaming "Get out" despite her telling us to get balls from the field due to the out of order machine which we had put money into and didn't work. She asked us as customers to put an out of order sign up for her as she clearly can't run the business herself. kicked us out and failed to give any reasonable explanation of doing so. If your thinking of coming here I've got one answer for you... DON'T

We started off by putting our money into the machine and got no balls back, so we called up and she said to grab some of the grass and to put an OUT OF ORDER sign up as a customer! Then after a second complaint by someone else she finally decided to take care of her business and then proceeded to kick us out without giving any explanation and only said we were being loud despite no complaints and speaking normal. She then grabbed the baskets endangering herself from our swings, instead of being polite and asking us to pay or be quiet. Do not recommend she’s a nut job!

What a joke. 30 notes for what was meant to be a game of golf. Trying to find a longer 9 hole course for kids. This wasnt the place. Down to 5 holes as owner said she couldnt be bothered to cut the grass on fairways and greens. Greens non existent as no bloody grass on them. Bunkers can't be found for the weeds growing in them. T boxes resemble the bloody somme. Dont waste your time and money here as we wont go back.
