Whittlesey Engineering Company Ltd is a family run business based in the heart of the Fenland Industrial Area. Les was soon joined by his son-in-law, John Carter, with John taking over the helm following the sad loss of Les in 1996. John continued to run the business, taking it from strength to strength, with the support of a great team of staff, the majority of who have worked with him for over 20 years.
John's daughter Charlotte Garner took over as Managing Director in 2019. As Precision Production Engineers, we work with a wide range of clients, providing large scale, medium quantity items to small precision, one off specialist components, including prototype test parts.

This list is not exhaustive and we are able to work with many more material types- please contact us with your requirements. Many of our clients deliver and collect their own components direct from our workshop. However, we understand that the option of your items delivered direct to your door offers you a quick and easy option.
Travel on the B1093 travelling out of Whittlesey towards Benwick, take the first right after the railway crossing at Whittlesey Station and we are situated directly at the bottom of the turning, immediately in front of you. Due to the nature of our clients business we do offer additional working hours by arrangement.
The successful candidate should have the ability to work from drawings, patterns and basic instructions to manufacture, adapt and repair various parts, as per customer requests. Working within a team to complete various projects both one offs and large volume work. Working with a variety of materials such as steel, stainless, aluminium, bronze, brass, nylons - all within its various forms and sizes.
