Holy Trinity Primary is a Catholic school which aims to provide a happy, safe and secure teaching and learning environment in which the needs of pupils and staff are met with support and understanding. We try to do this in a way that reflects the individual talents, gifts and experiences of each person.
Catherine McAuley was born in Dublin in 1778 into a wealthy family. She later became famous for her work in helping the poor and the sick by providing them with food, homes, schools and hospitals. Some people were very poor in those days and there was little help for the sick and needy. Catherine wanted everyone to know the love and mercy of God and she did this by helping everyone especially those most in need.
Firstly, we would like to thank everyone for all their support throughout the last school year with the many events organised by Friends of Holy Trinity Primary School. You have helped us raise over 10,000 for the school! The events held last year were the hugely successful coffee morning, the pub quiz, the Bingo afternoon, the Belfast Marathon relay and the school relay.
Well done to everyone involved. Our Nursery children are very excited to be taking part in World Nursery Rhyme Week this week. Our pupils had lots of fun learning and exploring during the month of October. Have a look at the photographs below to see some of the exciting things they got up to before the Halloween break.
