The completion of a long awaited extension in Autumn 2001 (which added two spacious classrooms, a resource area, office accommodation, and a sports hall) removed the need for temporary mobile classrooms, and ensured that the school building is equipped with all the physical and technological features necessary for the delivery of the curriculum in the twenty-first century.

Services
We are a small, informal group of parents and guardians who meet up each term to discuss ways of helping and supporting the staff and pupils in the school. As a parent of a child or children at Donaghey Primary School, you are automatically entitled to attend meetings of the Parents' Association. It is a brilliant way of getting to know other parents of children at our school.
See our school notice board for up to date information on our School Council and all the activities they are involved with. Mr Harrison is in charge of the School Council, so if you have any suggestions for the Council please contact Mr Harrison, he will then be able to put you in contact with the Council Chairperson.
It is the policy of the Board of Governors of Donaghey Primary School that all pupils will receive their full statutory curriculum entitlement which promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, intellectual and physical development of the pupils preparing them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.
