Welcome to St. John's Primary School website which showcases life and learning at our school. Situated in the Parish of Clonfeacle, County Tyrone, our school is a happy, child-centred environment which is hard working and successful. We strive to ensure that the children 'learn to love and love to learn' and have many opportunities to develop their strengths and talents so they can achieve their personal best.

We hope you find our website useful and enjoy browsing and sharing in the experiences of the children.
Services
In St. John's Primary School, we aim to create a happy, calm and caring environment, where each child will be encouraged to reach their true potential and experience success in their learning and development. Central to the creation of this environment is a commitment to the Catholic ethos which permeates all aspects of school life.
At St. John's we have an established link with our local primary school, Moy Regional. Together we are involved in the Shared Education Mainstreaming Pilot which involves the teachers and pupils coming together for shared lessons and activities. For the school year 2019/20, the shared lessons will involve the P3, P5 and P7 classes from both schools.
The children have been out everyday this week exercising as a promise to raise sponsorship. The school is now registered with easyfundraising, so you can raise FREE donations for us when you do your everyday online shopping. All you have to do is find the retailer you want to shop with on the easyfundraising website or App, shop as usual and the retailer will donate to us when you make a purchase - at no extra cost to you!
St. John's School Council gives pupils a chance to have their say on school life. It gives students the opportunity to raise both positive and negative school related issues and hopes and plans for the future. It provides an invaluable link between School Leadership and the children. Congratulations and well done to the following children who won prizes after participating.
Our Eco-Club helps us to learn about the different coloured bins we use at St. John's Primary School. They encourage us to reduce the amount of electricity we use in this school and also help us to think about our water usage in school and at home. When the weather is good, they remind us about sustainable transport choice in Ireland.
