Services
We are Carol & Paul Tansley, a couple that love animals and nature. Our family consists of Edward our cat and five funny chickens! After living in London for fifteen years we longed to live among trees and fields, so we upped-sticks fourteen years ago to a little house in a small Hampshire village surrounded by woodland.
Our wedding photography is a blend of pure documentary wedding photography, totally unposed for 95% of the day - mixed with some stunning couple portraits. Bright colourful images and stunning black & whites. We do of course shoot family group shots too, but we don't feel the need to show these on our portfolio.
You've probably never had to book a wedding photographer. We bet you have lots of questions. We get it! Carol and I found it very strange last year, when we had to look for a photographer for our own wedding. Even though we had a head start, as we know a lot of other wedding photographers. It still wasn't an easy choice to make.
We love winning awards for our images. Especially awards that are voted for by our peers in the Wedding Industry. I can remember when we started shooting weddings in 2010, that I couldn't bring myself to call ourselves Award Winning Photographers. It's meaningless unless you actually have some. But that all changed with our first Fearless Award in 2016.

Cannot recommend Paul highly enough. His style of documentary style photography, his humour and his uncompromising approach to capturing the shots he knows will be great, completely contributed to the success and our enjoyment of the day. From joining us getting ready and helping us relax, to the very end, it was a total pleasure having him as part of our wedding celebration. And the pictures enable us to relive parts of that day every time we view them. Not your false posed pics, but a moment by moment memory of the wonderful day.

Faultless. Absolutely faultless. From beginning to end I cannot express how happy we are with our wedding photos. They are more perfect than I could have ever dreamed of! Paul is truly talented! We absolutely love our stunning photos by Paul and Carol. We are so happy with their true portrayal of our special day with natural photos of us and our guests (as well as the obligatory posed photos we wanted with our friends and family). They blended into the day very well and captured so many special moments. When we received our slideshow and photos, it brought the whole day back and was very emotional. We were very happy with their unobtrusive approach and they captured so many lovely pure moments. We highly recommend!

My wife and I were lucky enough to have Tansley shoot for our wedding. We honestly could not be happier with the pictures, they really have captured the happiness of the day and everything is completely natural. It was truly worth every penny and we're very lucky that we'll be able to look back on these pictures to remember the day so well.

We had a mini wedding ceremony and was really lucky to have Paul as our photographer!! He is very professional and also seems to be very familiar with the entire ceremony procedure. I particularly like his photography style. It is candid and natural - no posing required which is a great relief for us who are camera shy! and yet he managed to capture the entire process and the atmosphere really well! Paul and Carol were great from when we initially made contact at the start, all the way through to receiving our photos in helpfully labelled galleries at the end. Their strong experience was apparent as soon as we started discussing our plans for the day and timings. On the day, they blended easily into the background and seamlessly fitted into our day. Their previous galleries were full of candid and uniquely special captured moments and that's exactly what we received (along with the standard posed group shots). We've been left with amazing reminders of our wonderful day! I can't recommend them

We chose Tansley Photography for our wedding at Ramster Hall in May 2019 and we are so glad we did. Our wedding photos are absolutely beautiful, we love them and everyone has remarked on how fantastic our photos are. Paul was the best choice for our small little wedding. He captured our day with total realism and heart. The photos show all our joy, silliness and feel completely genuine. Neither of us like having our photo taken but Paul made us feel completely at ease and gave perfect direction and was extremely patient with us.
