The Simply Swing Ballroom & Latin Dance Band, directed by pianist Sandra Lambert, is now recognised as one of the UK's leading ensembles for strict tempo dancing. It was the resident band at The Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, London, performing for their highly acclaimed Sunday afternoon tea dances.
We play strict tempo music for Ballroom Dancing, Latin American Dances, Dancing Competitions, Social and Sequence Dancing and Tea Dances and have a huge and varied REPERTOIRE from the 1920's right up to the present day; reworking the classic pop standards of yesterday for a modern day audience.

We chose the 5 piece Simply Swing band to play at our evening wedding reception and we can't fault them at all!!
The choice of music performed was perfect for our style and also for keeping our guests entertained. The volume was not too loud which meant that our guests could remain in the room and continue their conversations if they were not busy dancing! Simply Swing also provided us with tips for our first dance and for other aspects of the evening which all worked well and improved our reception. Steve, the vocalist, was brilliant at keeping us all entertained and our guests loved Jeff's drum

We engaged Simply Swing to play at our wedding party as we wanted a real dance band, not just a group to play songs. We hunted the web and went to see Simply Swing in action at a tea dance - impressed we engaged them.
They were superb on the night giving our "first dance" a real touch the Fred Astaire - the music not the dancing!
I would recommend them to anyone wanting a proper, precise dance band that swing with Style
