Frank Lee Centre
Swimming is a good all round activity because it keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off your body, builds endurance, muscle strength and cardio-vascular fitness. The Frank Lee Centre offers a wide range of leisure facilities to NHS and other related employees who work on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

We really value you as our customer and put huge importance on offering great customer service. I would be very interested to hear any feedback or experiences you may have that may help improve things for other members. We welcome under 16's to use the Swimming Pool during the weekends (Sat 3pm - 6pm and Sun 10am - 1pm).
Services
During the weekdays Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm the Bar and Restaurant access is via the Hexagon Sanctuary ONLY. During weekdays Monday to Friday 4pm to 10pm access to the Bar & Restaurant is via reception ONLY. Members are able to access for free. Guest fees are 1 with an on site ID badge and 1.50 without.
Some people love to exercise and will fit it into their weekly routine no matter what their circumstances are. However, most of us need a little extra help. To ensure you achieve your goals it is vital that you participate in an activity that's at the right level for you and of course it needs to be enjoyable.
Here at the Frank Lee Leisure & Fitness Centre we have a great offering to all members, whether you have used a gym before or not. You will find we have a great variety of classes which cater for all levels of fitness. But we don't just do classes.

We have a spacious fitness area on the ground floor which has cardio machines and a good sized open space, we also have a weights room which includes dumbbells, pre-lode barbells, pin-loaded weights machines and more.
A class based around core stability. You'll complete a range of movements mostly strength based to work the abdominal and oblique muscle group. Great for burning fat, boosting energy and well-being. It's aerobics in a pool, which means all the enjoyment with none of the strain or impact on joints. A Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates workout that builds flexibility & strength, leaving you feeling centered and calm.
Although the Club is run on a not for profit basis historically there is very low member usage on a Bank Holiday and due to the costs involved in opening (electricity, staffing) we close for the entire day. Saturday's: Open 8am - Facilities Close & Vacate Building by 4pm. NO FAMILY SWIM in afternoon.

Great gym.. friendly staff, clean areas. Weight room and other areas could be a bit bigger, and as being so close to Addenbrookes, should close a little bit later as there are so many staff doing different shifts
