Here at John Saunders & Son we want you to be able to choose the best package for you and your loved one and therefore we offer a wide range of options from the simplest dignified arrangement to something more complicated. Our staff is therefore on hand to support you and to clarify and explain anything which is not clear, so please do telephone us if you would like to talk things through or to ask about anything at all.
For all questions around how funerals work, your next steps, and aftercare, our team of specialists are on hand to give you the guidance you need. When someone we love passes away it is a time of great emotional upheaval. Grief itself can feel overwhelming enough but somehow, in the middle of all this, we have to find our way through a maze of unfamiliar official processes.

Sadly my Mum passed away on 12th Sept, and was cremated on 10th Oct.
I decided to go with John Saunders and son after reading their website.
When booking the funeral was no pressure to at all: I was felt at ease.
They even made suggestions not to spend more than i need to.
booking to see her in chapel of rest not a problem.
On day of the funeral all went smoothly. Helen Cook (Civil Celebrant) was great.
My advise to anyone who needs to book a funeral in the Luton area to go with John Saunders and Son.

We used the services of John Saunders and son recently . Marie looked after us with care and empathy covering everything. One the day of the service we were guided through without a hitch . Would like to Thank all at John Saunders for their help and care at this painful and sad time . Would highly recommend.

John Saunders were chosen by my family to handle our mothers funeral in September 2013.
Our point of contact was Marie who was very professional and empathised with our loss, rather than leaving us with the impression that we were "Just another customer" through the door.
The whole experience whilst difficult was made much easier to handle due to the manner in which John Saunders conducted themselves, and we would not hesitate in recommending them. Nothing was too much trouble for Marie to handle for us.
