Our motto "learning through play" is an ethos that is adopted throughout each Little Beehive Nursery. Children of all ages will join in fun-filled activities throughout the day, all while incorporating the Birth to Three or Curriculum for Excellence Educational principals, to make sure your little one's learning meets the nationwide standard.
We've been supporting ICUs and Hygiene Banks around the country, now we want to support you too! Want to make sure your little one looks their best? At Little Beehive Nursery, we've collaborated with My School Uniform to create some busy bee nursery clothing. Make sure to order those polos and jumpers ready for all the outdoor fun they'll be having!

Little Beehive Nursery was established in Cupar in 1997. The nursery was originally called Busy Bee Nursery, but a rebrand took place in 2016 and so we became "Little Beehive Nursery". Since 1997 there has been steady organic growth of the nursery group. With five nurseries based in Cupar, Newport, Kirkcaldy, Montrose and Strathkinness making up the Little Beehive Family.
To ensure you get the best possible experience without any interruptions we may avoid certain busy times of the day e.g. When choosing a nursery, it is important that it is a good fit for you and your child. That's why we encourage parents and care-givers to book a visit at a Little Beehive Nursery.
My name's Amanda and I've been working as an in early years practitioner for 11 years, joining the team here at Little Beehive Nursery Kirkcaldy in 2011. I work in early years because I find it such a rewarding job, I love making such a positive difference in children's lives. My vision for the nursery in Kirkcaldy is to ensure that all children have a happy and safe place to play and learn.
I started off my journey with Little Beehive as a Trainee Early Years Practitioner and with the support and encouragement the company has provided me I have progressed through the nursery into my currently position. I have completed my SVQ level 4 and I am currently working towards my BA in Childhood Practice at Edinburgh University to further develop my overall knowledge.
I'm Donna, Lead Practitioner at our nursery in Newport on Tay. My passion is childcare. I started caring for and educating children as a Trainee at the age of 16 when I wanted to learn more about the theory behind childcare. This led to me attending a two-year night course at college to gain my PDA in childhood practices.
