Emily's Pole Fitness
Pole dancing is an amazing all-over body workout that will develop your strength, grace, co-ordination and musicality. Don't worry if you've never danced before or if you don't think you're strong or co-ordinated - it all comes with practice! We welcome all levels of pole dancer, from complete beginners to advanced, learning a great range of spins, flow, tricks, combinations and floorwork in all kinds of styles.

Aerial hoop, also known as lyra, is an incredible circus art that involves making beautiful shapes and poses under, in and on the hoop. Our fantastic instructors will guide you in everything, supporting you from your very first time getting into the hoop right up to elite level. Aerial hoop combines grace, strength, flexibility and power to give you a fitness experience you'll never forget - try something new today!
Services
Teaching standards are very high at Emily's Pole Fitness. The team of instructors (Leah, Eimer, Mel, Dani, and Jenna) were chosen by Emily - they are the best instructors you could ever ask for. They all train hard to deliver top quality lessons to all of their students. You will learn each move step by step and work at your own pace.
Pole dancing is a great way to keep fit and increase your confidence! You will learn how to dance, spin and eventually perform tricks inverted (upside down) on the pole, once you have mastered the basics. Anyone can give pole dancing a go: any shape, any size, any level. Emily's Pole Fitness will help you to increase your strength, flexibility and confidence, so you can reach your full potential on the pole.
To book yourself in to start pole classes, firstly take a look at the timetable above to select the class at the best level and time for you, then contact us by emailing info@emilyspolefitness.co.uk to see if there is space in your chosen class. If you wish to start in a class above beginner level, please give a little bit of detail about your pole experience and level when you send your message.
Unfortunately our kids' classes aren't running at the moment but they will be back once all restrictions have been lifted, including the isolation restrictions. We will make an announcement when they are back. Children's aerial classes will run weekly and even run on bank holidays, and through the school holidays!
Our flexibility courses run for 4 weeks which consist of 4 x 60 minute sessions. We work on all types of flexibility from splits stretching, shoulders and back stretching. To book yourself in to stretch classes, firstly contact us by emailing info@emilyspolefitness.co.uk to see if there is space. Emily will get back to you to book you in.

Found out I had covid less than 48 hours before my first class (which I booked early December so clearly interested) so was told I'd have to repay as didnt give enough notice but it was impossible for me to give any more notice

I’ve been attending Emily’s Pole Fitness for years and I absolutely love it. Everyone is so friendly and inclusive, and all the instructors are so caring and make you feel so welcome. If you are interested in starting but feel nervous, don’t worry! I was so nervous about my first class but I shouldn’t have worried at all, they are so welcoming to new people and make you feel right at home. Thank you EPF for giving me more confidence in myself ✨

When I had to relocate for my job, Emily’s pole studio was my new Pole home. I was so happy to train here, she is so lovely and so are her team. They welcomed me in, I trained some beautiful combos with her and she helped me by improving my strength and stamina. She was very well priced and had some great training options available. I would certainly recommend Emily’s studio as a great safe place to train.

Brilliant, fun and professional. My girls having being attending Emily's Hoop class for the past 6 months and love it. They come back inspired and full of energy. Would definitely recommend this if you're child would like to do something a bit different and keep fit

I have been lucky enough to attend workshops, pole jams and a few regular classes at Emily’s studio and have been made to feel so welcome, despite not being a regular (due to the distance - if I lived closer I would definitely attend regular classes!) This studio is really well equipped with plenty of space and height, perfect for all aerial arts. Emily is professional, supportive, but above all a genuinely lovely person who will welcome and support you no matter your ability level.

This school has changed me! I've been going for about a year and have no regrets. My body confidence and ambition has grown so much, and now have my own pole at home! I've had lessons with 3 teachers there and they all made me feel so comfortable and encourage me to do better. I was lucky to volunteer at the Weird and Wonderful show in 2019 and had so much fun. Would recommend if you are looking to gain friends, confidence and memories <3

I have been going to Emily's pole fitness studio for nearly 7 years and I have loved every second! Emily, the instructors and other students are one big extended family and no matter your size, age or shape you are welcomed with open arms. I've been attending lessons for hoop,silks and pole at Emily's for the past two years and I love it! The instructor's are supportive, inspiring and make the classes enjoyable and fun. I know everybody will feel at home here it is a huge family, I have made so many friends. I'm always looking forward to the lesson they are the highlight of my week. I've never noticed any bullying at all. I recommend trying a lesson here to see for yourself how lovely this community is and visiting the Facebook page to see all the events and students work going on :)

When I first came to Emily’s pole fitness to learn aerial Hoop, I was not sure really what to expect, how would I be able to move around in a hoop, but with the patience and training with the amazing staff I fell in love with aerial hoop, it has given me confidence and strength I did not have before. I have gone from a complete novice who could not even get in the hoop to just before lock down starting the intermediate level and without the patience and encouragement of the staff I would never have made it that far. I have been to a number of events with Emily and her team. The stilt walking and charity events were brilliant, the New college make up and media evening absolutely stunning performance. The weird and wonderful shows I attend every year as the shows are absolutely amazing. You can see the choreography and hard work that goes into each show. A different theme every year, and Emilys students are full of confidence and always put on a fabulous show. Cant praise the studio enough, professional, safety second to none and to see students build the confidence up is amazing.
