The Bulls Head is a very relaxed, quintessentially English village pub that lives true to its 'Local and Proud' motto. All the food is prepared freshly each day, by Andy and his team, for its seasonal menu most famous for the Steak and 'Wobbly Ale' Pie, handmade and baked fresh every day (except Sunday) within our tiny kitchen.
Our Fresh haddock and fresh chips from Massey's farm are delivered daily for our classic Local Ale Battered Haddock and Chips with 'not so mushy' peas. Throughout the year we bring you some exceptional 'Food and Drink Weeks' from our Cask Ale and Pie Week to our now legendary 'Irish Week' to name but two.

Services
You can look through the different stages of the refurbishment and indeed the interesting history of our pub in our 'about us' link. Take a look at our 'gallery' link to get a feel for the warmth and atmosphere inside and the lovely garden and terrace outside.
We offer home cooked, flavoursome and wholesome food cooked freshly by our kitchen team, a great array of local Cheshire cask ales across seven pumps which are always selected from breweries within a 30 mile radius of our pub.We offer over 100 whiskies and a well selected wine list with 13 different wines by the glass that cater for all tastes.

We welcome children of all ages to the pub but there are some points worthy of note below. Children under 10 are welcome here at the Bulls Head until 7pm inside the pub and 9pm in our garden. Children of 10 and older are welcome with parents beyond these times. We have a selection of smaller portions available for children so do please ask us on arrival and we will be pleased to help.
We welcome well behaved dogs in our Whisky Snug and Garden. There are water bowls with fresh tap water by the front door and around the garden. Our owner Tim buys delicious treats for all our four legged friends who visit our pubs and ensures our jar of dog biscuits on the bar is always fully stocked.
So firstly if you are local save fuel and walk to the Bulls Head, or cycle here, it's healthy and it saves fuel too! If you want to have a drink get a taxi or have a designated driver it saves the hassle of leaving your car! If you have to drive (and many people do) the Bulls Head is situated on Mill Lane which used to be the main Knutsford to Wilmslow road prior to 1930 when the road was bypassed.
We are very honoured, proud and in some cases humble to have been recognised by some of the most important people and publications in our industry. We thank our entire team for working so hard to help us build our pubs and inns in to award winning places and we share all these accolades with them both past and present.

Me and my partner called in for a couple of drinks and decided to have a couple of snacks too. The choice of real ales is extensive and I can strongly recommend the Mobberley Wobbly ale. However what we did notice was the 'military precision' of all the staff in how they served, and cleaned tables etc. Steph the manageress was lovely too. We will definitely return. Well done.

Fabulous food, atmosphere/ambience, service. All in all a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy great food and beers. Lots of outdoor seating too. Love this place! Down sides.....parking is difficult and you can't book.... so be prepared for a wait or arrive early. There's a lovely 4 mile circular walk from the pub too which helps you work up an appetite.

Wife and me went for a drink and a meal. Drinks are brilliant but the food!!! Both had the steak pie unbelievable best pie I've had. Might look dear but youreally get what you pay for. You should sell these in shops!
On top of that the staff are really friendly and helpful. Definitely visit this pub

I an giving this rating purely on the welcome and the service. Based on food alone it would be a 3* property.
In the area for but a single night I needed a meal and a beverage. This was my only choice and it overall it worked.
On the way down a small hill the Bulls Head is situated, with its substantial charming beer gardens, on the left side. The atmosphere was quite welcoming from each staff member I encountered. The barrooms are decidedly aged with great coziness and low ceilings with exposed timbers etc. Overall a very pleasing atmosphere. Several local cask beers are available to be pulled

I went with my husband for lunch on Sunday after a friend told us how fantastic the food was, so expecations were high. The weather was good so lots of people were outside but we opted to eat inside. We moved tables once as we were seated next to a very noisy family. We ordered a roast beef dinner and sausage & mash. The food was very average but edible and I didn't think the beef dinner was seasoned very well. We then ordered coffee and dessert. The coffee arrived almost instantly but we waited and waited AND WAITED for the desserts (mobberley mess and rhubarb fool). We asked 2 different
