The Arden House is a small family run hotel offering a warm and friendly welcome to all its customers. The Coupland Family and their staff are happy to act upon any requests to ensure your stay is as pleasurable as possible. We have nine en-suite bedrooms all decorated to a high standard offering TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

We at the Arden House offer a large and varied menu catering for all requirements which we can serve in the Lounge Bar or Conservatory with views over the beautiful gardens and the River Dee. The hotel is located approximately 4 miles from the A75 Carlisle to Stranraer Euro route and only 1 mile from the picturesque fishing port of Kirkcudbright.

We offer a large and varied menu, including a senior citizens menu, catering for all requirements which we can serve in the Lounge Bar or Conservatory with views over the beautiful gardens and the River Dee.We also have a daily special board. The Britannia Suite can cater for 70 to 180 guests. Whatever your needs be it conferences, business meeting, parties, weddings, christenings or funerals we will be able to accommodate them.
The Arden House is the perfect place for your function no matter what it is. We have three different areas in which you can hold your event. The Conservatory which holds up to 30, The Dining Room which holds up to 70 (50 with a dance floor) or The Britannia Suite which holds up to 180. We can easily cater for any special occassion, office parties, business meetings, conferences, training events, seminars, corporate events or funerals.
The hotel is located approximately 4 miles from the A75 Carlisle to Stranraer Euro route and only 1 mile from the centre of the picturesque fishing port of Kirkcudbright, thus offering the perfect compromise between an open rural setting and speedy access to primary roads. With its unspoilt views of the Galloway Hills and many lovely walks on its door step, the Hotel will appeal to both 2 and 4 legged guests alike.
Kirkcudbright has many visitor attractions including walking, golfing, cycling, shooting, river trips and fishing. The town is also home to the newly refurbished Broughton House and is becoming known as an Artist Town due to its many art exhibitions and galleries.
