Services
Billy's role is to oversee the day to day running of the business from any initial enquiries right through to the funeral arrangements and finally conducting of the funeral with the upmost dignity and respect. This is a reputation we have built up over the years and are very proud of. Taylor & Sons were proud to receive a 1st place award for their excellent customer supplier performance.
You will deal personally with Billy Taylor or a member of staff throughout the time that you need to engage W.S. Taylor & Sons services. With a very "hands on" approach to supporting you, your Funeral Director will be personally responsible for all that you ask them to do - you won't end up talking to an office junior (we don't have any).
The first choices to be made are the type of committal - burial or cremation - and the style of funeral ceremony - religious, civil or humanist. Once we know the type of funeral you need, we can guide you through the choice of location and who could lead the ceremony. The other important choices to consider are the finer details of the ceremony, the funeral cortege and the style of the coffin.
Although there are many things to consider after the death of a beloved member of family or friend, the following information details some of the more specific areas for consideration. Should you feel you need any further clarification, assistance in any aspect of the funeral arrangements or indeed answers to any general questions you may have just give us a call and we'll help in every way that we can.
Family and friends will want to know about the death and will need to know when and where the funeral will take place. We can place a notice in your local newspaper and online giving all the required information. Most local councils run a service called Tell Us Once - it lets you report a death to most government organisations in one go.

Hi there just want to recommend this funeral directors as amazing they can't do enough for you Billy the owner personally came to my home at what still is such a traumatic time and helped explain things how they work and what I wanted what my soulmate of seventeen years wishes were nothing but a lovely kind man helped me choose the coffin out of all the choices arranged the humanist asked me the music choices down to even opening on a Saturday so I could spend time with my soulmate he is still helping me until this day nearly six months on the chapel of rest was soo peaceful as I was terrified
