If we could give 10 stars we would, one of the best guest houses we have stayed in. To start with, Tim and Lisa were excellent, friendly and attentive owners- who made every part of our stay special. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious- offering good facilities. Beds were comfortable and had a lovely view of the countryside- seeing cattle daily yards away. We also had a good selection of breakfast daily- good portion sizes and tasty- excellent for a long day ahead. Lisa was very accommodating and friendly. Tim also made time to ask how guests were, which was a lovely personal touch.

You often get advice from friends and acquaintances to visit a place, this place was one of them, the advice was friendly and warm welcominghosts, great quiet location for touring around the area, great food, clean and tidy rooms, a note of care taken with the little things. Chef comes out of the kitchen to chat with the guests (when time permits). Nothing too much trouble, just to ask.
A sense of family, within the guest house, mainly due to it being run by a family.
I would recommend this guest house like the person who invited me to visit.

Absolute pack of lies from Sunnymeade in response to my review. Owner gave me attitude over the phone when I was accommodating as possible and called a couple of hours ahead not 1 as stated, and tried to appease a situation, by offering to cancel, just to be told his wife wasnt happy!
Under no circumstances would I let my dog foul anywhere in a hotel! That's just a blatant lie. In addition to saying a deep clean had to be done. If the latter is true, perhaps the owners would consider doing so prior to guests arrival!! A below the belt response from a massively overrated b and b. The toilet was
