The Hourglass Pub
The Hour Glass is an independently owned pub only a stone's throw from South Kensington tube. We've been open since the 1930s, but we're all about bringing you the best of best today. We work with the award-winning Harviestoun Brewery to bring you some of the highest quality beers in the world. The master brewer makes the frequent trip down from Scotland ensure our beers taste exactly as intended.

Our local Chelsea specialists, Haynes Hanson and Clark, help curate our wine list to make sure we've always got a great selection of interesting wines. We're the featured pub for the Brompton Design District within the London Design Festival. We're only 4 minutes walk from South Kensington Tube and less than 10 minutes from the Victoria & Albert Museum, The Natural History Museum and The Science Museum.

Nice pub. A little long and thin, so can get cramped when busy, but it's a nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the booze was priced as you'd expect for the area. Dog friendly too.

I was here for Sunday lunch on a quiet afternoon, so your experience may vary, but...
Wonderful roast belly pork. Perfectly cooked, and delicious vegetables and very nicely presented. It was really good value too (£14, I think). Washed down with a pint of Bitter and Twisted. That was overpriced, but I'm not based in London so I think that of most beers.

Very nice place. The menu is original enough to make us curious but not discouraged so we decided to enter. Many vegetarian dishes, good beer and cider. Kind and quick personnel. To come back!

Nice little pub to stop by on an afternoon walk around the lovely streets of South Ken. Sunny benches, friendly staff and refreshing drinks. Aaaaand the occasional big fancy sport car speeding by loudly to the awe of a local hen party.

Brilliant little place. Went in with some visiting Spanish friends and the staff were AMAZING! Went straight into Spanish, made us all feel very welcome. Allowed sample tasting of the wines and lagers to ensure (which any brewery or good pub should allow) to ensure that we would enjoy our drinks. Great atmosphere and ambience, fantastic staff, loved our visit! 👍👍

It used to be a lovely gem, then they did it up... There should be a law against ruining those pubs.

We wandered here by accident as we got lost. The beer was lovely and not extortionate. Sat outside and watched the world go by. Pleasant staff and clean loos. Would visit again.

Cozy little pub, could use a new selection of beers, but the food it's well worth it.
They have an open kitchen, and it makes the dinning experience really nice, you can see the chef preparing you're delicious food. Please try the croquetes and the brownies, they are delicious!!!

The Hour Glass is much more than your average pub, with an amazing new chef at the helm of the kitchen, the scents of food get your mouth watering as you walk upstairs to the dining area. My friend and I wanted to try some modern British food with a great beer selection , so The Hour Glass seemed like the perfect place for us. The menu is the perfect length with frequent changes based on the season and what the chef finds at the local market.
The service was friendly, the waiter let us knew her recommendations, describing the ingredients and cooking style. The pork scratchings with mustard was
