Classic West End pub featuring live sport, cold beer, and good times, Ye Old White Horse is a local pub with local supporters of London teams, and a bit of Irish craic. Tucked into a quiet nook in the heart of Holborn, Ye Old White Horse is a traditional London pub in the centre of Dickensian London with a lively atmosphere, attentive service, and historic surrounds.

The pub is located in one of the few buildings in the local vicinity to have survived the great Edwardian clearance scheme at the start of the twentieth century. In fact, a pub has been on these premises for over 200 years, with the cellar dating back to the 16th Century. Join the lively banter in the al-fresco space in front of the pub, or cozy up with a pint in the back nook, where Charles Dickens' Mr. Pickwick may have done the same.

Found this little treasure whilst looking for a pub that was open at 11.00am in London on a Saturday. Lovely little pub. Great service and very welcoming.

The older guy serving with white curly hair was really rude to me and my mate, saying that he wasn't drinking enough, when four of us had gone through 3-4 pints each. Completely out of the blue as everything else to that point had been fine. Maybe they are under some stress because of lower footfall in Covid, but looking at other reviews it seems like I'm not the only one to experience this.

Great little pub. Loaded with students. Good pints... some nice booths... it's interior is really charming... but try to fit in this place on a sports screening night and forget it!

Small traditional pub, open seven days a week, good beer with a range of both keg and cask. Shows sports on a couple of screens. Pleasant staff. Good place to visit. An extra star for Woking to open up after the Great Plague of 2020. Small steps much appreciated.

The pub is a decent atmosphere, but they did give us a hard time for not drinking enough! I think maybe the issue was communication between bar staff because we did actually order a fair few, certainly as much as could reasonably be expected.
