Really nice spot, makes for a perfect Sunday roast, or just a jolly pub lunch on any other day of the week.
Charming setting with comfortable chairs, and interesting artwork throughout (the alternative Mona Lisa at the entrance was particularly eye catching).
Food-wise, I had the vegan burger with the sweet potato fries. The fries were really good (but nothing out of the ordinary). The burger itself was ok, nothing mind blowing, and a bit dry. I might suspect that vegan burgers are not really this pub’s specialty…
The dessert however was delicious, we ordered the sticky toffee pudding, like

The pub is very beautiful and well located , and in general the staff is very friendly.
We were considering our Xmas dinner there, when the other manager, Billy, who was lovely and provided an amazing service, received us the previous time.
But last time we had the other manager, RENATO, who was very rude having tables empty, not providing child menus (he told our kids that was none when there are in their website) meanwhile people were waiting to be seated, didn't check the table services and most of all ignoring the customers, made us not want to return anymore.
