I stayed with Sue and Andrew for 8 days.
From the moment I got there they were friendly and super helpful.
Sue has the best knowledge of the area and how to get there by bus also!
The room was lovely with a double and a single bed. There was a large wardrobe and a large dressing table plus several drawers.
2 mirrors one large full length and two smaller ones, one of them located above the sink.
There was a small tv, lamp and alarm clock also.
The room was spotless and there was plenty of room to move round.
The breakfast was delicious and always cooked to perfection.

The guest house is nice, neat and environmentally conducive for a quiet relaxation. This is my second time of visit and have no regret of booking it.

Review July stay
My first impression of the place was neutral. I knew the place was reasonably priced and a good distance from the lakes which meant we could easily travel to different places. If you are a car driver this area is cool as you have the benefit of a town mixed with the proximity of the south Lake District area. The place does not have wheelchair access, you pretty much need to be able to climb stairs.
The first words we were greeted were with "you can't park there, you need to move". This surprised us as we thought hmmm, even if we are in the wrong slot it would be nice to be welcomed

Great cheap room with everything you need. Would have been 5 stars but shower was a little noisy.
