Lovely situation with splendid views. Helpful friendly staff front of house. I was not a resident but booked for an evening meal on recommendation.
Good to big portions, reasonable value too, we have very nice starters, scallops and smoked salmon and would recommend them.
Unfortunately the mains were very poor hence three stars. Duck was not rendered and was very chewy, the mash had hard lumps. The fish and chips, the cod was lovely but batter was disappointingly soggy and the chips were clearly frozen which is understandable given the remote location (we originate from the outer hebrides so

Hotel over looking the sea.
Arrived early evening, the first Impression was it was clean and well presented. Man at reception went over the formalities of checking in, evening meal and breakfast.
The room was of a nice size, with a very nice bathroom which looked new. Room had all that we needed.
The restaurant menu had a good selection and the food was well presented. Breakfast cooked to ordered, help yourself to juice and cereal.
The staff where very helpful and Polite.
All Covid-19 Procedures in place.

Enjoyed the 'High Tea' during an epic thunderstorm with the power tripping every few minutes. A great selection of cake, patisserie and some savouries. We'll worth a visit.

Perfectly good hotel at a reasonable price. Had to get take away and eat in the reception as could not get a time slot that suited us. Friendly staff if not overly helpful-when booking dinner.

Only had a dinner here, 6 stars as good a meal as we could have had anywhere. Seafood menu is stunning, the dessert menu is unable to be resist. If the food wasn't good enough the views from the restaurant across the Gairloch to Skye are stunning especially when the sun sets as we were lucky to have.

Loved it here. Stayed 3 nights, perfectly located with beautiful views & right on the edge of the Loch. Food was amazing both dinner & breakfast. But what really made it for us was the staff... everyone was amazing so hard working & attentive made us feel very special. Thank you

We only had dinner here but the food was great, well presented, tasty food. The staff were quick, efficient and friendly. The views out of the window over the Gairloch to Skye stunning. Definitely a place to add to the list of places to stay, if the restaurant was anything to go by.

This is a fantastic hotel. All staff are hugely friendly and helpful. The whole place is spotless.
Food is first class and delicious. Location overlooking the lock is perfect.
The evening sun shone warm and bright and we were able to sit out on the terrace enjoying the peace and quiet after dinner.
