In History at Bousfield, children are encouraged to ask questions and to think critically about the past and how it has shaped our world today. They learn to analyse sources of evidence and critically examine arguments - vital skills for modern life. Our History curriculum helps children to understand the process of change and how this has shaped many aspects of our world today.
Children consider how the past influences the present, what past societies were like, and what beliefs and cultures influenced people's actions. As they do this, children develop a chronological framework for their knowledge of significant events, periods of time and people. They learn how to empathise with people from different eras and how to compare and contrast life in different times.

This is an amazing school, full of light, green spaces and playgrounds, set in a lovely neighbour. I have 2 kids there and I am so impressed by the way they are tough, and the children are so happy to go to school. Staff is knowledgeable, respectful and kind, the head teacher is clearly doing a great job!

This is an excellent school, it provides so many people with help and learning opportunities.
I loved my teachers Mr Fox and Mrs Pears for the kind natured teaching skills .
I struggled after leaving this school as other schools can't compare or care for my learning.
Needs.
Barn dances in the hall was one of my favourite times there.
Thanks.

I was a student at Bousfield primary school and i think it was better than any other school in the area combined. It was very organised, extremely good education (i should know, as i got into City Of London and Latymer) and it was an extremely pleasent and friendly environment. I shall always remember and cherish my memories there and i reccomend this school to anyone in the catchment area.
