I love this place and am so lucky to have it as my local! The food is alway delicious and the staff are absolutely lovely! I recently went for afternoon tea with some friends (baby shower) which was great - they made it very special and everyone said how nice it was. I can't recommend the place highly enough!

Amazing! The staff was great, you are given the respect you deserve. I attended a memorial service reception and the atmosphere was just super! The food was gorgeous. Highly recommend for any function!

Lovely local pub and great grub. Will be going there for birthday celebrations this weekend. I will be going there to have one of their fantastic Sunday roasts.

Friendly local feel, large heated outdoor areas (separate smoking and non-smoking areas). Restaurant dining area as well as main bar. Food on the restaurant menu is as good as, if not better than some of the prime central London gastropubs!

I’ve been going to the oak for over 8 years now and it’s always been such a good atmosphere food has been good and polite staff. My recent experience at the pub since covid has hit has gone completely down hill. The atmosphere seems very stiff like they’re trying to be something they’re not.
As for the staff they have an odd one or two behind the bar that are lovely. But myself and friends had food brought up and when we asked which one was which due to each pizza being different we was greeted with the response of “I don’t know who’s is who’s I didn’t take your order” than

This is pretty much the perfect pub. It has an excellent selection of beers, perfect decor, staff are knowledgeable and really welcoming and friendly and it has a nice vibe inside and out. Only ways it could be better would be something to entertain kids outside and some green veg with the roasts.

We were lucky to book a table on the day the restaurant menu was renewed. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Add the excellent service of Kelly who had the whole very busy room under complete control and you have a superb night. Give it a go you will not be disappointed.

Great pub, discovered it recently whilst looking for a place to go for late lunch that accepts dogs. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, really great outdoor space, everything perfect! Will be coming back for more soon.

Lovely pub and dining rooms with great decor. Loved the photography collection of vintage London!
Visited for Sunday lunch, sadly only one vegan option which was a burger. Would love to see a vegan roast offered as there were many, many meat options (which the rest of my party said was delicious!).
Not five stars for the lack of vegan options and the staff were not welcoming when we arrived and we had to stand awkwardly in the pub, waiting to be shown to our table which we’d booked in advance. However, we were served by a delightful young woman who was really helpful and pleasant.

What a fantastic pub. Everything a pub should be. The rooms are great: clean, comfortable with everything you'd need. It was a bit noisy at kicking out time - although it was a Friday night, so not that surprising! Soon settled down though.
Breakfast in the morning was awesome. Those sausages are incredible! There was a bit of confusion over times - so worth checking whether the website has been updated. But was more than worth the wait!
We had a couple of beers in the beer garden in the afternoon, which was lovely. Nice beer - with a good choice of ales - in a nice environment. All served by

Very nice pub with a massive and really rather lovely garden. Had fish and chips and a vegan burger - both ok - not quite as nice as I had hoped.
Nonetheless - nice range of beers, great friendly space and service with a smile. Recommended.
