You get what you pay for. Room was comfortable and clean, bed sheets were dated but oh well. Staff were absolutely fantastic, can’t fault them. Booked the day before NYE and cheapest hotel in this part of London. Would definitely have no regrets going back if I was going on another night out in Brixton.

Was just ok. Bathroom stunk of cigarettes and room wasn’t clean. Asked them not to come while I was out someone came as my bags had been moved. Feel it wasn’t very safe (no safe, no telephone in room, no lock on bathroom door) thin windows and thin duvet. Reception work weird hours until 11pm and then there is no one around but a number you can call… if they answer.

I stayed here for four days while visiting London. I'll say I definitely had mixed feelings about this hotel the first day but by the second day, I'd come to like it.
For starters, all staff members we interacted with were friendly which is just a must this day and age. Our room itself looked nice but had such a strong cigarette odour. When we informed the staff we asked for a nonsmoking room, they did say they were trying to air it out by leaving the window open (which explained the flies I saw flying around in the room). Although this is something that should've never happened
